Integration: Bridging the Gap of Holistic Care.
At Bridge Psychiatry, we provide comprehensive mental health and medical support for patients of all ages. From children navigating developmental challenges to adults managing complex medical and substance use histories, our “Integrated Bridge” model ensures that no patient walks their road alone.
Our Multi-Disciplinary Team
We believe that the best care happens when different clinical perspectives meet. Your care at Bridge is powered by:
- Psychiatric Providers: Overseeing all clinical protocols, medication management, and diagnostic strategies.
- Primary Care Providers : Collaborative team members who add valuable insight around the care plan and physiologic complexities.
- Specialized Nurses: Providing medical monitoring (vital for our Spravato and High-Dose Stimulant programs) and patient education and chairing patient groups, individualized nursing visits.
- Licensed and unlicensed Therapists: Delivering evidence-based behavioral interventions, supervised by LICSWs
Evidence-Based Group Therapy
Bridging Isolation and Wellness to find Whole Human Health
Recovery and mental wellness often thrive in community. Unlike traditional support groups, our sessions are clinical, structured, and overseen by psychiatric providers to ensure they align with your overall treatment plan.
Our Curriculum
We utilize gold-standard, evidence-based formats led by our experienced therapists and nursing staff:
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) Groups: Focusing on mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Groups: Helping patients identify and reframe negative thought patterns to change behavioral outcomes.
- Recovery & Relapse Prevention: Specialized groups walk in and traditional models for those navigating SUD, including our people who use our high-dose stimulant and opioid use disorder protocols.
Why Group Therapy?
- Peer Validation: Seeing others face similar challenges reduces the “shame” often associated with mental health issues and substance use disorder.
- Skill Practicing Interacting with peers is helpful to finding experience practicing newly learned competencies.
Clinical Oversight: Because our nurses and providers oversee these groups, we can monitor your progress more closely than in a standard once-a-month office visit.
Diagnostic Clarification & Specialist Referrals
One of the greatest hurdles in mental health is an incorrect or incomplete diagnosis. This is especially true for children with neurodevelopmental needs and adults with co-occurring medical conditions.
Our Diagnostic Process
We don’t just treat symptoms; we seek the “Why.”
- Complex Case Review: We specialize in “Diagnostic Clarification”—re-evaluating previous diagnoses that may not be providing the full picture (e.g., distinguishing between PTSD, ADHD, and Bipolar Disorder, for example).
- Pediatric & Adult Specialists: We provide age-appropriate assessments that take into account developmental milestones and life stages.
- Care Coordination: Our team will do their best to ensure that our providers have access to your most up to date medical information (hospital discharges, ER visits, specialist notes)
Seamless Referrals
If your condition requires care beyond our walls, we act as your medical advocate. We provide direct referrals and clinical coordination with (but not limited to):
- Neurology
- Cardiology
- Endocrinology
- Pain Management
- Specialized Pediatric Developmental Services
Treatment of Complex Medical Regimens
Our team is specialized to change medications that are not working, reduce impact on the body and minimize medication burden while improving medication efficacy.
